PHD offers both electric variable pick heads and pneumatic fixed pick heads. Pick heads can change the spacing of an array. For example, product may come off a conveyor line at spacing of 25 mm, but to place the product in the packaging it may need spread to 40 mm.

The electric variable pick head is programmable and can be modified to changing demands. Pneumatic fixed pick heads are a lower cost solution.  The spacing of either version is engineered and manufactured to your specifications. Grippers can be adapted or we can provide a mounting pattern that best fits your needs. Customers benefit from easy installation, customized pitch and number of heads.
